10/2/2007 2:16:00 PM I've been attending baseball games since I've been 5 years old but last night's game between the Colorado Rockies and San Diego Padres was among the most excited I've attended. The Rockies and Padres needed last night's tiebreaker to decide the NL wild card, which goes to the division runner-up with the best record, after finishing the regular season with 89-73 records. Their game was only the 7th tiebreaker in Major League Baseball history.

4/4/2007 5:01:11 AM It was sunny and 78 degrees in Philadelphia for the Phillies home opener against their rival Atlanta Braves. People were out and tailgating for hours. The old rag time bands were playing outside of the stadium and people were wearing their brand new jerseys mostly representing the reining league MVP Ryan Howard and all-star Chase Utley.
